The Crap Is Starting To Ooze Back

[At right: a typical, scholarly and unbiased Wikipedia editor.]

Somebody's been monkeying with my Wikipedia article again. Slowly but surely, the meretricious crap is starting to inch back, including the use of Morris Dees' Southern Poverty Law Center as an allegedly legitimate source, which it is not. Dees makes his money out of defaming anyone right of center, and his entire operation is one gigantic act of Constitutional indecency.

Some pointless errors of fact--evidently any old asshole can be cited by Wikipedia as an "authority" so long as he works for a "mainstream" media outlet, and Wikipedia's idea of what constitutes mainstream is, shall we say, pretty damned broad?

No outright lies yet, but the use of the SPLC as a source does not bode well for the accuracy or scholarly validity of the article.

Maybe they think I'll lose interest and stop monitoring the article. In any case, I suppose I need to be prepared to go to war again
